Nursery Room Reveal

Back in June I shared our nursery room inspiration and finally got the chance to sit down to share the nursery with you! Since we found out we were expecting a girl, I knew I wanted to keep the room somewhat neutral in case we have a boy in the future we can just swap out the pink for another color. I knew I wanted grey to be our base color, and from there we added pops of pink, gold and white.

I chose to have the walls painted grey and pair it with my favorite furniture from Evolur.  I actually found out about Evolur from a Baby show I attended. I instantly fell in love with the quality and the beautiful craftsmanship. Not only was the quality amazing, but the customer service is excellent as well and I am happy to say I am now apart of the Evolur family.  I purchased the Windsor Adora curved top crib, dresser and changing topper.

Since the dresser, crib and walls are all grey, I wanted to add something to "pop" so the crib didn't just blend in to the wall. I added 3" gold dots I made from my shop: Showered With Design around the walls of of the crib and had them scatter from the corner of the ceiling wall down. I added different sizes of Pink Flowers to really get some color on the walls. (Purchased from Hobby Lobby). I included an "M" monogram in the middle of the flowers that I purchased from Michaels.

Our glider was a Baby Shower gift purchased from Babies R Us, but they have a similar one of Amazon here. It's so comfy and I love rocking my girl while sitting in it.

I bought a pink bin from Home Goods to use as her laundry basket, and stored in next to her dresser under her bookshelf for a cute added pop of pink to the room.

I knew I wanted to showcase books to add more color to the room, so one of my requests at my baby shower was to bring a book instead of a card. I want reading to be part of our bedtime routine so I wanted them displayed in the room so we can pick out a book, relax in the glider and read bedtime stories. I purchased this three piece floating shelf set from Amazon, and I love it!

I purchased the three framed pieces of artwork to place above the dresser from Hobby Lobby.  I added a wipe warmer, hand sanitizer  and some lotions on top of the dresser for easy access. I placed the diaper genie next to the dresser to be able to toss soiled diapers at ease.

I do want to get a pink rug, or pink pattern to add on the floor, but I have yet to find one I am in love with.  I still need to figure out where to place the video monitor, but since she hasn't even slept in her crib yet-- we still have some time to tackle that!

I hope you love the nursery as much as we do! I will be added little touches here and there and will share them as we go. You can keep up with my daily mom life on instagram.  I always love meeting new moms or mom-to-be's!

  1. LOVE how it all came together, and I spy some of our favorite books to read to Serena. We also forwent the changing table, and just put the changing pad on top of her dresser. Such a great way to eliminate a piece of unnecessary furniture <3
