Hey guys! Sorry I have been MIA, I've been so busy with my new job, and my old job (Yes I am working 7 days a week- so at least 50 hours aweek. I don't know how I am alive. & I have been going to the gym, so I am like an energizer bunny running all over the place.
So this week I decided I wanted to Shower you with some trends.
First of all, I love getting a manicure, but with all the hours I am putting into working during the week really kills my time to pamper myself with a manicure. So I have to come up with ways to do it myself, without the ( $30 per 2 week cost) So now I can do my manicures whenever I want for only $6-8. SO MUCH of a difference. Here are a few of the new nail trends I'd love to share with you.
1) Caviar nails.
2) Magnetic Nails
3) Blend-Gradient nails
4)Tape nail-design
Next time, the how to's on these nail trends =)
stay tuned xoxo

Showered With Recipes!
Hey blogger world! Sorry I have been MIA for a few days, *ish* just got CRAy at our townhome. We are having new roomies move in this weekend and had to clean and move furniture and get rid of a ton of what was left by our old roomies. So its been a little hectic but I finally got to get back on Bloggin again =) and I can't wait to share my new recipe! Today I am going to share with you a FABULOUS must try- EASY ( who doesn't like easy) Recipe for Pasta. I modified the recipe I got from The Pioneer Woman. It is quick, easy, and you can use items you already have in your kitchen. Which is sooo helpful! The ingredients I used (serves 2-3 people, I like leftovers =)):
- 1 can diced tomatoes ( do not drain !) -- {I used target brand- and got the roasted garlic and onion flavor..yum!}
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream {I used target brand}
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil {Kirkland-Costco}
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 cup chicken broth {if desired}
- 1/2 Onion { I used white}
- 3 cloves Garlic {diced and minced myself}
- Pasta Noodles {I used spaghetti}
- 1-2 cups ( or whatever desired-- i love artichoke)Artichoke hearts {I used Kirkland-Costco}
Step 1: Cook pasta, I added salt to the water to add some flavvaaa!
Step 2: In a skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic till sauteed ( usually around 2-3 minutes)
Step 3: Add the artichoke hearts & diced tomatoes (not drained) . Stir and cook for about 8 to 10 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Stir in whipping cream {might not need the whole 1 cup depending on how thick it becomes} and chicken broth. Add some salt and pepper to taste (do not undersalt!) { I also added some garlic powder for some more flavor.. not too much.. not too little} Cook over low heat until heated through, then turn off heat.
Place the drained pasta in a large bowl. Sprinkle with 1 cup Parmesan. Pour some sauce over the top. Add some more parmesan, and more sauce if you'd like! And Voilà! You made yourself a super easy-quick dish that you and your family/friends are sure to enjoy!
