Weekend Recap

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I sure did! I am co-hosting with Bella from Bella and The City to bring you our weekly Weekend Recap!

Friday night we decided to have a Disney date since now we are officially annual passholders (So excited!!!)   We went to California Adventure, walked around and went on our favorite Toy Story ride/game.  We are pretty competitive when it comes to games so it makes it fun!  After the ride we went to have some dinner and then went home.   We were pretty tired so we figured we can come back whenever we want.  We were lucky enough to park on top of the parking structure to see the fireworks as we were walking to our car!

Saturday I woke up bright and early to process orders from my etsy shop.  Then I took a nap (I know, how ridiculous!)  I don't know why I was so tired!   After my nap, I began getting ready for the night.  We went out to the bars by the beach in Newport.  A bunch of old and new friends met up with us, and we we ended up staying out way too late.  You know, one of those late night taco bell fourth meal kinda nights. 

Sunday we took  the lovely Porsche around downtown by the beach and had some delicious Bloody Marys and lunch!  We were hurting pretty bad from the night before so we went home and I passed out on the couch while the boys went in the spa.  We ordered Dominoes for dinner and just lounged around.

Weekend Recap

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  I am co-hosting for another great WEEKEND RECAP with Bella! AND, I was lucky to take Monday off work so I had a great extended weekend. 


Friday night, the hubby and I had a nice dinner at Lucilles BBQ with some friends, and man was it good! I always love a good BBQ dinner :)

Saturday was spent looking at granite and having a nice breakfast with my parents.  Then I cleaned the rest of the day/night and processed orders from my Etsy shop!

Sunday I layed out by the pool and I was so excited because my Aunt and cousin were in town from North Carolina later that night! So we cooked dinner and spent some great time with them.

Monday we woke up super early and were basically the first people to walk into Disneyland.  We spent all day at the park (both California Adventure and Disneyland) and my other Aunt and cousin came down for the day to spend it with all of us.  My husband and I both purchased annual passes again and I am so excited that we will be able to go to Disneyland this year whenever we want! (Jumping for JOYYYYY).
We ate at my FAVORITE Chicken place inside Disneyland and it was not crowded at the park all day.  We were able to go on SO many rides (without fast passes!)  It was so great!

and I HAD to post this because I totally BEAT my husband.. BOOM!  318,500!   (although not the highest I've ever scored aha!)

(Me on the right)  But can we talk about how angry I look...   totally focussed.

Kitchen Renovation {1}

As many of you already know we are going through a kitchen remodel.  I thought I'd document the crazy journey since I am still in somewhat of a writers block!  We have a pretty smaller kitchen, and there are a few updates that definitely needed to be done, as well as to make it more usable!

Here's the before images I took..

You can tell it is very outdated!  The tiles and sink had to go! and we needed to do something with those cabinets! 

It's crazy to see it so empty! But "hopefully" in a few short weeks it will all be completed and I will be in LOVE with it!

Weekend Recap

Happy Monday lovies! I hope you all had a fantastic Easter Weekend!  I sure did!

On Saturday I picked out tiles for a backsplash in our kitchen, and did some retail therapy!

On Sunday I spent the day at my parents enjoying the sunshine, pool, and had a great BBQ Filet dinner!

We are starting demolition on our kitchen remodel this Tuesday! I am so excited, but also stressed because we have boxes of all our kitchen items around the house.  Hopefully it only takes them 3 weeks to complete everything! Fingers Crossed!
