I am so excited to announce that we have closed on a house! We officially are grown ups, and have our own home! It's in a great neighborhood and it's the perfect size to start a family one day. The neighbors are so friendly too! (We already met a few!)
While it's still a little bit very surreal to me, I'm excited to finally share the news with all of you lovelies!
There really isn't a whole lot we need to redo with the house, it's in turnkey condition! We may update the kitchen counter-tops, but other than that it's perfection and I cannot wait to move in and set everything up!
We do want/need to buy a few new items: a couch, coffee table, side tables, fridge, bbq, and washer and dryer.
This list could go on for days. So it's a process and I can't wait to display it on the blog!
As for now, we are super busy packing to move and finalizing wedding plans! Sp bare with me if I am absent from the blog! I couldn't wait to share!
Hello Lovelies! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I cannot believe it is already June!!
Today is my wonderful mommy's birthday and we are planning on heading to dinner this evening! Now on to the weekend recap! I am co-hosting with the amazing Bella from Dateless in Dallas.
Friday evening I stayed at my girlfriends house since my fiance went to Vegas for his Bachelor party! We had a fun girls night in as she practiced doing updos on my hair for the wedding.
Saturday we woke up early to head to breakfast before hitting the LA fashion district to try to find her a larger dress (since she's preggo and it doesn't fit anymore!)
On our drive to LA, I spotted some goats, and of course had to photograph!
We also went to check out the candy wharehouse because I am having a DIY candy bar at our wedding! It is insane how much candy these places have. Literally so many options its overwhelming!
Anytime we head to LA, we make it a must to stop at Philippes French Dipped sandwiches. It is so delish and the deli mustard they have is spicy and good!
Later that night, I got a group of my girls together to hit the town for a last Bachelorette fling! It was so fun to get everyone together before the wedding so everyone can meet and get to know each other. Most of my friends that came live far now, so I never get to see them as often as I'd like! And they are my besties from high school. We had a fabulous dinner, the food portions are huge!! I ordered a small order of chili cheese fries, and it didn't look like I made a dent in them!
Then we hit the bars! And were super silly.
Sunday was my lazy day. I was hungover, and had to pick up my car from my girlfriends house. We ended up heading to lunch and I tried Pho for the first time ever! I was a little hesitant, but I'll try anything once! It was good! My fiance came home from his trip and we watched Wedding Crashers because it was on Tv. We BBq'd chicken and opened one of our wedding gifts we just received in the mail! Overall it was a fun, eventful weekend.
How did you spend your weekend?

If you didn't already know, I am a major BLING girl aka Girl that can be distracted when glitter, diamonds, sparkly things are involved. So naturally, I wanted to utilize my love for BLING in our wedding. (Sorry babe!)
Of course it all started with the engagement ring.
Then it slowly made it's way into Saying Yes to the dress and although I will not show my dress until after the wedding, you can bet your bottom dollar it has bling on it *wink! After we found my dress, we had to find shoes. I went for the Benjamin Adams full rhinestoned heels. What can I say, it's like my glass slipper!
I , I mean we received these gorgeous Swarovski champagne flutes as one of our bridal shower gifts from my amazing parents. I cannot wait to use them, but I am also scared to break them!
My mom and I found my bridal jewelry at Macy's, a gorgeous bracelet and set of earings. All bling of course!
I made my cakestand, and bling wrapped the entire thing.
Our tablecloths have some sparkle in them too!
Of course we picked out my band, and that is blinging!
Then, my mom an I found the perfect bling hair piece, and although I don't have a good picture of it yet, this will have to do. You get the idea right?
And there you have it, my blinging wedding in a nutshell! and it's approaching fast!
