Weekend Recap!

Friday evening the hubs and I and two of our close friends went to grab sushi and decided to hit up bowling after. We had so much fun, and they had a DJ at the bowling alley bar so we hung out there for a while until heading to our friends house to continue our drinking for the night.  He has an indoor facility so we hit some baseballs, had some pizza, and ended the night surely after.

Saturday was our friends birthday, and we went down to Newport.  We took a boat out through the harbor for 3 hours and got our party on.  After the boat, we went to the downtown bars and stayed out way past my bedtime.  We of course ended the night with Taco Bell, and ended up crashing on the couch.

Sunday we had Sundya Funday pool day and took our pups for a swim.  We had a BBQ dinner with my parents and relaxed all day.

My Friday Favorites

Is it just me, or did this week go by extremely slow?  I swear I already woke up too many mornings by Wednesday.  I think the end of the month at work makes things go much slower than we would like to admit. This week for My Friday Favorites, I will be sharing my 5 favorites from this past week.

[One]  

Helped my girlfriend work on her sons First Birthday projects and hit up Starbucks.  The barista made these adorable leafs in our coffee cups. #ItsTheLittleThings

[Two]

Helped my other girlfriend by making her a cute Jewelry Dish and Mug set for her soon to be Sister-In-Law who just got engaged.  This was my first attempt at making a Round ring dish versus a square one, and I have to admit, I think I am loving the round one better! So naturally I ordered more to add to my shop!
 

[Three]
Worked on a new aisle runner design.

[Four]

My friend just started her Etsy shop, and she gifted me this beautiful wreath for our front door.  I am so in love with it!

[Five]  

 This day, last year, I made my very first sale with my Etsy shop. I only had aisle runners and card boxes for sale. Weekend Recap

Happy Monday again! Can you believe August is coming to an end?? Where did the summer go?! I still cannot believe this year is more halfway over and that fall is right around the corner. Anyways, it's time for another Weekend Recap, co-hosted by myself and Bella from Bella And The City.

This weekend I...

Spent Friday evening hustling out Etsy shop orders and helping my girlfriend make a wall decal for her new Esthetician business. I was up till about 1 before I realized it was time to go to bed.

Saturday I met my friend at her house and we headed to downtown LA to shop for her sons First Birthday party coming up mid September.  We got stuff to make a candy bar and found the cutest Mickey Mouse themed pinata that didn't look like a creepy vampire Mickey Mouse, we got a number 1 in Mickey Mouse colors! It was so cute I cannot wait to see it at his Birthday!

After shopping we stopped at our favorite LA pit stop, Philippe The Original.
It's our favorite, and I wish we had one closer!

I was planning on going out with a few girlfriends that night, but ended up taking a three hour nap and wasn't down to get ready to go out.  #TheStruggle

Sunday I spent the morning finishing up a few orders and laid out by the pool.  I had dinner with my parents and knocked out early.

Weekend Recap

This weekend we:

Spent some time Friday night cleaning.  I know, really exciting...

Saturday we met up with friends at one of my favorite Mexican food spots in OC called Gabby's.  After dinner we hit the local bar with plans to hit the strip club for one of these lovely ladies birthdays, however, we never ended up making it out of the bar by the time it closed. We stopped by a liquor store on the way home to pick up some brews and vodka and continued drinking and went in the spa at our place.  We of course stayed up way too late, and Sunday was pretty much a waste of a day.  

Sunday morning, my girlfriend called me hysterically crying because her dog went missing but luckily someone found her and it all turned out ok!

We went to their house to swim and BBQ and then came home and crashed early.

And of course, we took one of those photobooth photos at the bar.. you know, where you pick your music.. they had a hidden camera! Score!  Although they didn't turn out very well.
