Current Obessions

New Year. New Obsessions.
Anyone else obsess over some things too? Where you can't get enough! Or is it just me?
These are my current favorites that I can't get enough of.

Current Obession

L I P S E N S E | Probably my favorite makeup product thus far. I got so irritated using lip gloss because it was too messy. I hated leaving lip imprints on my mugs and anything
I ate  or drank. I always worried about it smudging or smearing across my face if the wind blew. With lipsense, I no longer have that issue and the color lasts all day. I order mine from Dressing Dallas. (P.S. I am hosting a Lipsense party on facebook- if you want the deets let me know! You can WIN some free lipsense to try!)

B O O T I E S | I am loving ankle booties lately.  You can dress them up or dress them down. Perfect for a casual yet comfortable wear all day. I am currently loving this pair from Shoe Dazzle. & If you sign up for VIP (cancel anytime) you can get one for $10 right now. Plus they have a ton of great sales under $10 right now. And as a member you get free shipping.

L U L A R O E | The hype is true. Once you buy one, it's hard to stop the obsession!  I just can't get enough. They are so comfortable and fashionable. I buy mine from Sasha or Megan and Crystal on facebook.

I N D I A N  C L A Y  M A S K | Since the New Year, I took it to myself to give myself more ME time this year. I am loving this easy Indian Clay Mask. It's all natural, and super easy to do. It takes no more than 15 total minutes. It pulls all the impurities, black heads and feels so fresh. Since I've used it, I've noticed major improvement on my skin. (Even my mom commented how great my skin looks.) All you need is this Aztec Indian Clay & Apple Cider Vinegar. I got mine on Amazon. (Get prime and get free shipping!)

What are you currently obsessed with?

Housewarming Gift Ideas

I recently came across Jenny's post on housewarming gift ideas and decided to put my own ideas in the mix! The holiday season is just around the corner. Now is the perfect time to get some Holiday Shopping done before the mad rush of crowds fills the malls (and the streets). Black Friday is only weeks away which means the holiday shopping is about to begin! I have always been a huge fan of bringing housewarming gifts to friends and family to add a little touch of love to their new homes!

Personalized Coasters | Wine Sign $14.99 | Personalized Wine Opener SetCutting Board $11 | Personalized Decanter

My favorite gift ideas always start in the kitchen. The kitchen is the heart of the home. That's where friends and family gather and spend the most time in. The kitchen just brings people together. Whether it be over drinks or a warm cooked meal, it's one of my favorite spaces in my home. Here are a few of my top favorite gift ideas that they are sure to love:

Personalized Wine Opener Set |  Wine opener sets are usually not items you think to buy for yourself. Sure you have some plain old wine openers lying around in your junk drawer, but do you have a personalized set with all the cool gadgets? These are great to keep around when you are entertaining.

Coasters |  Always a staple in the dining room, kitchen, and living room. Where friends gather, grab a drink and relax.  Personalized coasters are a must in my home. They add that little extra touch and makes you feel somewhat professional in your own home. Everyone needs coasters, and these are the perfect gift.

Decorative Cutting Board |  I love kitchen decor, and what better way to give your friends/family  cute decoration that can also be used daily! Display them on a cute stand near your favorite cook book and be reminded of the cute and thoughtful gift every time they are in the kitchen.

Kitchen Wine Sign | Spruce up the kitchen with this cute wine sign. I love little art blocks in kitchens and how it adds that little extra touch. It brings all the little details together.

Personalized Decanter | Because who doesn't love the look of one of these? They look so fancy! I always sport mine at little get togethers that we have when we entertain. We get so many compliments on them!

I love ALL of these ideas and I know your giftees will too! I am also hosting an online auction for my shop on my facebook page. If you are wanting to find a great gift for less, head on over as I will be posting from 11/10-12/22! Perfect for your Holiday Shopping!

eShakti Review: Be Bold

I was invited by eShakti to try one of their dresses. This excited me greatly because I have always wanted to order from eShakti but have heard mixed reviews about them - My best advice, try them! One only has to google "eShakti review" to see how many other bloggers have had widely different experiences with them!

I chose the Keyhole Front Cotton Knit Dress to review. This dress is only $59.95 and comes in this gorgeous jade green color. I've always been one to love anything colorful, and try to choose my outfits that have some color in them!  This dress was the perfect choice.
This dress is so comfortable and very well made.  It also has pockets!! (Which is probably my favorite part!)

Styled with: Michael Kors watch, chain link bracelet (similar), Forever 21 earrings.

This online store is unlike any other I've come across.   You can have the dress customized to fit you before you order it!  I was able to enter details such as my height, how short I prefer my dresses, if I wanted to add any sleeves, and what neckline I prefer.

It's so great to order something and know it's going to fit you.

You choose your custom size, your height, and your dress length options:

Slips on over head; partial side zip closure.

ModCloth Dress

Many of you asked where I got my dress for my bridal shower and I was so bummed when they sold out of them so quickly. But you are in luck, the dress is now back in stock! I ordered my dress from Modcloth, which is a super cute online fashion website and everything is very reasonably priced.  I love shopping Modcloth online because it's convenient and they have so many unique items that I could have never found in stores.

I had always wanted to purchase something from Modcloth, but never had a good reason until my bridal shower.  I originally was looking for a white, lacey dress.  Then, I came across this Lovely as a Lychee dress from Modcloth and immediately fell in love.  I wasn't sure whether or not to try it out, because I am really hesitant with online shopping.  Some things look better in pictures than they do when you try it on.  I am so glad I decided to take a leap and buy the dress, because I checked back a week later, and all sizes were sold out!
When I received the dress, I immediately tried it on (who wouldn't?)  I fell in love instantly and was so excited to wear it at my bridal shower! It fit so perfectly!  I knew I wanted to buy a mint/tiffany blue necklace to go with it, and of course I found a rad deal on jane.com. (Who I am also affiliated with) If you do end up purchasing from jane or groopdealz, they do sell out fast! So check back often for new items as they add new ones every day!

Also, if you use my links, I am an affiliate of all three online shops and get a percentage from them!
If you do, message me and I will send you something via mail as a thank you :)
(And if you are an affiliate anywhere let me know, I purchase things online all the time and would love to help a sista out!)

I am not being compensated for this post.  All honest opinions are my own.
I am an affiliate for Modcloth, and if you purchase any items by clicking my links,
I do get compensated a percentage of the sale.

Inspire Me 2014: Day 11 - Winter Wonderland

Co-hosting with the lovely Kristen for our Inspire Me 2014 Blog Challenge!
Read the complete list of prompts here

Today's prompt: Take a photo of what your “winter wonderland” looks like.

My Girl Kristen hails from New England, so she gets all the pretty snow! I don't get to experience snow where I live.  In fact, it is 83 degrees right now.
My extremely white skin is going to burn!
Crazy, I know. & I'm sure most of you that have snow and very cold climates are rolling your eyes at me when I say I wish it was colder. Not a whole lot, but slightly!

Alright, so you want to see my so called "winter wonderland?"  Not much of a winter.. but here it goes:

My little pup in the photo above.  I was taking them on a walk when I took these photos.

Bright, sunny, over 80 degree weather, mid-January.  I swear the seasons are changing because it was rainy and much cooler in July, and I'm pretty positive I don't live in Australia where they have opposite seasons.

Oh and I thought I'd share my amazing wedding shoes I ordered! Eeep! I am too excited!!!

Come Join our link up! I'd love to see your actual winter wonderlands and envy you!
