I thought this post couldn't be more perfect timing since baseball season is here!
Being married into a Baseball loving Family means you eat, sleep, and breathe baseball. I mean we even chose our gender reveal party theme as "Baseballs or Bows." My father-in-law coached travel ball baseball, my husband played his entire life through college and is currently coaching High School varsity baseball, and my brother-in-law plays professional baseball.  I didn't quite know what I was getting myself into, but I am loving every minute of it. In Case You Wanted To Know..

In case you wanted to know what the heck has been going on in my life, I decided to write and catch you all up.  So a LOT has happened over the past month. 

I will start by letting you know, my brother-in-law got called up to the Big Leagues two weeks ago so we took a last minute trip to Boston to watch his games. I had never been to Boston so it was a fun mini vacation. We got to be tourists for the weekend which was fun!
We saw all the pretty buildings that the city had, went to the Cheers bar, Fenway Park (of course!), got to hang out on the Green Monster, ate at Wahlburgers, and saw everything the city had to offer!

It was such a neat and historical city and I would love to go back! My BIL pitched a game which was great to watch! Since he is the new one on the team, he has to wear a Pokemon backpack around the team.

Weekend Recap

Happy Monday everyone!  I am co-hosting our weekend recap with the amazing Bella from Dateless in Dallas!  I seriously feel the weekends fly by every time!  Can't we just get one more day to enjoy our time off? That's all I ask. Heck, I'll even compromise and take one extra day every month off.  

..If.. only..
 

Well, Friday night the hubbys parents were in town for his little brothers travel ball team.  We decided to take him and his team to an Angels game.

One of the players my hubby knows on the other team (Red Sox) threw him a ball during practice, so he gave it to his little brother.

Saturday we went to his little brothers baseball games.  Then we went to our new home to put stuff away and take more boxes.  Moving is such a pain! It will get done eventually!

 

Sunday we took his brother and my in-laws to the beach.  We stopped by a restaurant on the way, where the hubby got an amazing Bloody Mary and an insanely massive burger.

We didn't realize how big it was going to be!

 After lunch we went to the beach!

Awesome Baseball Facility in So CAL

If you live in the SO CAL area, and have a 13 and under son who is interested in baseball, ADAM KENNEDY Baseball facility located in Anaheim California is THE BEST travel ball baseball facility around.  If you don't already know who Adam Kennedy is, let me give you a small rundown:

-He is an American Major League Baseball second baseman
-He previously played for the Oakland Athletics, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Washington Nationals, Seattle Mariners, Los Angeles Dodgers and had two stints with the St. Louis Cardinals.
-In Game 5 of the 2002 American League Championship Series for the Angels against the Minnesota Twins, Kennedy hit three home runs, joining only seven other players who hit three homers in a post-season game: Babe Ruth, Bob Robertson, Reggie Jackson, George Brett, Adrián Beltré, Albert Pujols, and Pablo Sandoval. Kennedy's performance helped the Angels clinch the American League pennant, and Kennedy was named the series' Most Valuable Player. The Angels went on to beat the San Francisco Giants in seven games in the World Series, earning Kennedy a World Series ring.








So if you have a son who is interested in Baseball, definitely check out the facility.  It's amazing, the coaches are amazing and really care about the kids.
