Can't Stop Won't Stop

Top 5 Things I "Can't Stop, Won't Stop." (aka cannot live without)

Country Music -- Something about the way it makes me feel, the way I get in the "line dancin' mood."  It for sure makes me a better person.  Somehow, someway.

Blogging -- Whether it be my own blog or constantly reading other blogs, it truly is inspiring to read what people have to say.  Plus don't you have those moments when you say to yourself, "I am SO blogging this!"?

Love -- That feeling of knowing someone is always there for you, waiting with open arms.  Someone you can always talk to, turn to, with unconditional love.  That feel-good feeling inside.

Pinterest -- I don't know about you, but I call it an obsession.  I may need to start going to PA (Pinterest Anonymous) meetings because there is not a day that goes by I don't check out new DIY projects or home decor on Pinterest. Please tell me I am not alone?

Puppy love -- Not a single day goes by that I don't think about our fur babies.
What's not to love?  They are always happy to see you, the best snuggle buddies, and so cute!  They keep me company when I am alone, and they are so funny!

Now it's your turn, Link up and tell me what you Can't Stop Won't Stop.

Weekend Recap & Inspire Me 2014: Day 8

It's time for that weekend recap!
Linking up &  co-hosting with Bella from Dateless in Dallas

Friday night: The fiance came home from Vegas after being at CES, and we had our first "date night" after a long while.  We went to BJ's for dinner and then saw the movie Anchorman 2.  We've been wanting to see it for forever, but never had the chance or opportunity to go.  We also don't go to the movies that often.  The movie got out at about 11PM, and we were so exhausted.  We had the hardest time keeping our eyes open. What is wrong with us. Mid twenties, tired by 11.
WE. ARE. OLD.   le sigh

Saturday: I went shopping with my mom at our local mall.  Do you ever have those days where you don't feel like getting ready and all cutesty?  For me, I just didn't feel like taking all the time to do my makeup and hair, so I threw it in a pony tail, I half-assed my makeup and guess what happened?  I ran into literally everyone and their mom at the mall.  Figures.
Anyways, I had my Michael Kors watch links taken out finally! So now I can wear it yay! I also got a clear lining protectant put over my ipad screen so I can't scratch it!  Not that I would, but it's extra precaution!
We had a late lunch at Lazy Dog Cafe and I wasn't even hungry for dinner later!

Saturday Night: We took it easy, changed into our jammies by 8pm, and watched the movie American Hustle at home.  We still couldn't stay awake the entire movie.  We really need to get our Shhtuff together!

Sunday: My mom and I headed back to the mall so she could get the protectant screen put on her ipad.  She also bought some cutesy boots.  We went to lunch at CPK and went home for a nap! I watched the I am Britney Jean documentary.  Gosh, I love her.  I don't care what anyone says.  She's one of my favs. I cannot wait to see her this summer in Vegas! Whoo hoo! I made my mom and I a healthy chicken dinner with delicious zuccini, salad, tomatoes and avocado! YUM!

Now it's time for you to link up!

What is your best advice for the New Year?

I'd have to say my best advice for this year is to appreciate the little things in life because life is too short.
Also to stay true to yourself and reach for your goals! Because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

CrockPot Lasagna

I love when I get the chance to cook a home-cooked meal for my fiance and I.  Although some days I really don't have all the time in the world, especially now during the Holiday Season.  I try to come up with new ideas and quick, healthy options for dinners during the week.  It's boring to eat the same thing every day, right?  Here is a quick and easy recipe, that my fiance absolutely loved so much (He's pretty picky) he even went for a second helping!

Weekend Shenanigans and Cyber Monday

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I was able to have a 4-day weekend for once in my life and I have never felt so rested!

Wednesday night my fiance and I wanted to stretch our stomaches before Thanksgiving, so we head to our favorite BBQ restaurant Lucille's.  We had ribs, tri tip, and fried pickles (our fav!)

Thursday we spent Thanksgiving at my parents house, just the four of us.  It was a more mellow Thanksgiving than usual.  My dad and fiance watched football and I helped my mom cook.

Friday my fiance and I bravely head out to the malls since we both had the day off which is very rare for us.  I have never been a black friday shopper so for me to attempt was pretty crazy.   I went expecting the crowds and the parking madness, thank goodness for valet parking!  Heck, I got 90% of my Christmas shopping done too, and bought myself two pairs of jeans at a fraction of the cost!  I'd say it was a good day!

Friday night my fiances boss took us out to a delicious restaurant and we all stayed out pretty late than we are used to!

Saturday my mother and I bought my fur babies some new sweaters.  They look so adorable!  We went out for a non-turkey lunch at TGI Fridays; I was craving chicken wings so it was a must.

Saturday night we had a poker night at my girlfriends house.

Sunday was a relaxing day.  I cleaned, did laundry and we still ate leftovers from Thanksgiving.

Overall we really enjoyed our weekend.  It was relaxing yet fun-filled.
