It's time for that weekend recap!

Friday night: The fiance came home from Vegas after being at CES, and we had our first "date night" after a long while. We went to BJ's for dinner and then saw the movie Anchorman 2. We've been wanting to see it for forever, but never had the chance or opportunity to go. We also don't go to the movies that often. The movie got out at about 11PM, and we were so exhausted. We had the hardest time keeping our eyes open. What is wrong with us. Mid twenties, tired by 11.
WE. ARE. OLD. le sigh
Saturday: I went shopping with my mom at our local mall. Do you ever have those days where you don't feel like getting ready and all cutesty? For me, I just didn't feel like taking all the time to do my makeup and hair, so I threw it in a pony tail, I half-assed my makeup and guess what happened? I ran into literally everyone and their mom at the mall. Figures.
Anyways, I had my Michael Kors watch links taken out finally! So now I can wear it yay! I also got a clear lining protectant put over my ipad screen so I can't scratch it! Not that I would, but it's extra precaution!
We had a late lunch at Lazy Dog Cafe and I wasn't even hungry for dinner later!
Saturday Night: We took it easy, changed into our jammies by 8pm, and watched the movie American Hustle at home. We still couldn't stay awake the entire movie. We really need to get our Shhtuff together!
Sunday: My mom and I headed back to the mall so she could get the protectant screen put on her ipad. She also bought some cutesy boots. We went to lunch at CPK and went home for a nap! I watched the I am Britney Jean documentary. Gosh, I love her. I don't care what anyone says. She's one of my favs. I cannot wait to see her this summer in Vegas! Whoo hoo! I made my mom and I a healthy chicken dinner with delicious zuccini, salad, tomatoes and avocado! YUM!

What is your best advice for the New Year?
I'd have to say my best advice for this year is to appreciate the little things in life because life is too short.
Also to stay true to yourself and reach for your goals! Because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

Watching the Britney Jean documentary made me want to book another trip to Vegas just to see her show. It looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry I get exhausted too, especially on Fridays after a long week of work. We don't go to the movies much either, as we prefer to Netflix movies and watch them on the couch, but when we do go to the movies we typically go to a Saturday or Sunday afternoon matinee to avoid teenagers and save a couple bucks :-P
Ahh I love Brittany too! Probably because I have been a fan since her first album but I do continue to love watching what she does next. CUTE shirt from your watch photo. Loving that print and color lately.
ReplyDeleteLove your watch! My hubby surprised me with a purple MK watch for Xmas :)
ReplyDeleteHow did you watch American Hustle at home?!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I accidently linked my link for today to yesterday's spot. You can totally delete in on this one lol. Anyway, LOVE Britney and I'm sooo jealous that you're going to see her! Can't wait to see those pics when you go!
