Our Wedding Video

Our Wedding Video *highlight* has arrived! (Gosh I cannot wait to get the whole thing!)   Aaaand I may or may not have cried while watching it.  It was like reliving the day all over again and seeing parts we missed out on.  I wish we could replay that day over and over again. { Thankfully we have the whole wedding recap video so we can replay it again }  I am so glad we went through with hiring a professional wedding videographer to capture our special moments.  We toyed with the idea, but it was the last thing we booked.  I am SO glad we did.  Although it was pricey, it was worth every penny!    I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. ( P.S. it's better with the sound )

Crazy how we have been married for exactly 4 months now.  Time sure flies! So my tip for all you future brides, enjoy and take it every moment. 

P.S. Today marks 4 months of being married!
 

7.12.14 {The Cake}

I think it's safe to say our cake was stunning and it deserves it's very own post.  We had our cake made from Scrumptious Cakes and not only did it look pretty but it was the best cake I've ever tasted. (And I don't even like cake).  We chose three flavors.  Butterfinger crunch (which is what we chose for the top layer and middle layer), Oreo, and marble. All were outstanding.  We even received compliments about how delicious it was.  It was beautifully decorated by our fabulous florist Jenny B Floral Designs.  We knew we wanted a cascade of flowers on our cake, and a beautiful display of flowers underneath the cake under a glass table top.  My husbands grandfather built the cake box for us, and I painted and rhinestone wrapped it and it sure displayed our cake so beautifully and elegant.  Some of the photos don't even do it justice!

7.12.14 {The Ceremony}

We had a beautiful ceremony location, and the decorations looked fabulous together.
Our ceremony took place at 5:30 PM on Saturday July 12, 2014. 
I had a few moments privately with my dad and he spoke the sweetest words I have ever heard.  I can remember telling him not to make me cry because I didn't have time to have Jewel fix my makeup before he walked me down the aisle.
I love the photos captured of our guests waiting for the ceremony to begin.

We chose to do a sand ceremony because I wanted to reuse the shadow box containing the sand we poured in on the day of our wedding in our home for decoration while also being a reminder of the best day of my life.

 It was such a beautiful ceremony and I couldn't have asked for anything more amazing.
