Time for that Weekend Recap! I'm co-hosting with Bella @ Dateless in Dallas!
This weekend really flew by, and here's what I did:
Friday Night:
My fiance and I went out for Sushi. If you didn't already know, my fiance has never had sushi in his life. .. like ever. The best part- it was HIS idea. yep.
So naturally, I didn't ask questions and took advantage of the fact that he was so willing to try it. I tried getting a photo of him, but he was being a tard-face (yep made that up). After eating I asked how he liked it, he said he was still hungry and probably needed to go through Taco Bell, which I would have done since he was such a good sport. Then suddenly, a dessert came by us that had bananas and whip cream--his eyes lit up and he got so excited and said "We are getting that!" So of course being the awesome person I am, I rewarded him for wanting to get Sushi with a treat.. like a dog..
The best part, he said he'd go back!
Saturday:
My mom and I moved some of my stuff to storage and then we went to lunch after.
Simple day yet I got a lot done! (Moving sucks!)
Saturday Night:
My girlfriend invited me to go to the PBR- my first time! It was so much fun, I will definitely be back again next year! Oh and Gene Simmons was there! (The one wearing all black and black hat-- he walked under us!) After the PBR ended, we went to a country bar called The Ranch. I love getting my dance on and I did just that!
Sunday:
I had a videographer appointment! We met at a local Starbucks to go over details- let's just say we are one step closer to booking our videographer! I enjoyed a nice chat along with a Passion Iced Tea. After my mom and I met with him, we went out for a nice breakfast.
Sunday Night:
After the fiance got home from his Baseball games, we went out to dinner and watched a movie at home with our pups. It's the little simple things that are my favorite and spending quality time together.

Sounds like a fantastic weekend - I'm not sure I would survive if my husband didn't like sushi!! I eat it every week - it's our standard date night - glad your fiance is into experiencing new things!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! That made LOL that your husband wanted to go to Taco Bell after your sushi date. Men!! I think the dessert was definitely a better choice.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is the same way, he's always hungry after we've already been out to eat. Men... lol. What a trooper he is for trying it out!
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend used to do bull riding (not in the PBR) but it's one of the things on our bucket list to go see - the finals in Vegas!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great weekend! My husband and I only tried sushi for the first time a few years ago. I can't say I love it, but I do enjoy getting to go out for the experience :)
