Weekend Recap!
Hosted by yours truly along with the lovely Bella from Dateless in Dallas.
So it officially rained this weekend! RAINED! I have never been so stoked about rain ever before! But man did we need it. And I mean it was like hard rain. Since we rarely get rain, I felt the need to address how excited I was. As I am sure I'm getting alot of eyerolls from those of you where it's been snowing for months. Sorry!
It was nice to be lazy indoors.
Friday Night: I went to Happy hour with a co-worker after billing for end-of-month which is always crazy hectic. So a Corona-Rita was much needed. After our happy hour sesh, I went home to get ready for the evening. I went out with my fiance and a few of his co-workers. It was one of those late night, ya know?
Saturday: I went to lunch with my cousins and my mom. After lunch we went to get my little cousins ring bearer tux fitted. Oh man, he is going to be absolutely adorable! I can't wait to see him rock that tux! B.T.W. he's 3. Ah I die!
Saturday Night: We kept it pretty low-key. I worked on some wedding planning, watched some movies, listened to the rain fall. It was very relaxing if I must say so myself.
Sunday: We went grocery shopping and literally bought everything in the store. I made a delicious stuffed chicken and veggie baked potato, served with melted cheese and a side of Alfredo sauce. It was sooooo good! I will have to put up a recipe.. I would have taken a photo but I was starving and bit into it before I was able to! Next time I swear!
And can we talk about Ellen on the Oscars last night?! How can you not love her!
She is such a good host, I vote her to host every year! I usually don't watch the entire Oscars, because I get bored. But If she hosted every year, I'd totally watch the entire thing!
Remember when I got the chance to see her live show last year with my mom? It was wonderful. She danced right next to me!
I'd love to hear about your weekend! Come join our link up and share your weekend with us!
